In May 29, T3  cooperation network (Network for public services and housing policy of local governments) meeting was held in Riga. Topics to discuss during this meeting: energy efficiency, instruments for energy efficiency management, financing schemes, as well as best practice examples in self-governments and suggestions for database.

Aino Salmiņš, T3 network coordinator started with the presentation on energy efficiency, solutions and local policy in self-governments. This was followed by  a presentation on Basic principles of energy efficiency management and financing for energy efficiency measures, delivered by Dr.sc.ing. Maija Rubīna, Chair of Riga City energy experts’ consultative board; and presentation by Juris Golunovs, Head of Riga Energy Agency information centre.  In addition, Andra Feldmane, LALRG adviser, presented ESCO and PESCO financing schemes.
